#EUSEA19 will take place at Vienna Biocenter

Vienna Biocenter (VBC) is an international hot spot for Life Sciences. 18 biotech companies, 4 basic research institutes, 1 university of applied science, 1 science communication association, 1 business incubator and further services are located at the Vienna Biocenter. Around 1.700 employees and more than 1.300 students from 70 nations are working and studying at the VBC. Scientists at the VBC have received 45 ERC Grants since 2007, raising up to nearly 80 million EUR. 11 Wittgenstein Awards were received by researchers at the VBC. The Institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA and the association) OPEN SCIENCE run the Vienna Open Lab at VBC to make Life Sciences accessible to the interested public.
